The trial of a former Dutchess County lawmaker accused of molesting two Boy Scouts got under way this week, according to a report by The Poughkeepsie Journal.
Jurors were selected Monday in upstate St. Lawrence County Court to weigh the case of Michael Kelsey, a 38-year-old attorney and former Scout master in Fishkill, The Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
Kelsey, who has been free on bail, was accused of inappropriately touching two 15-year-olds during a Scouting trip in Clifton two years ago, The Poughkeepsie Journal story said.
The trial itself began Tuesday morning, The Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
