Seen Him? Poughkeepsie Bank Robbery Suspect On Loose

Police are asking the public's help in their search for a bank robbery suspect.

The robbery occurred on Thursday, Dec. 21 at around 3:30 p.m. at M&T Bank at 4 Jefferson Plaza in the City of Poughkeepsie.

The male suspect is described as a being about 6-feet tall and having a medium build, wearing a gray hoodie with a yellow circular pattern on the front with LIVESTRONG in white lettering underneath wearing a glove on his left hand, with a scarf covering the bottom of his face and a baseball hat.

The suspect entered the bank went up to a teller and handed them a note demanding money, City of Poughkeepsie Police said. The teller put money in an envelope; the suspect took it and took the note back, according to police. The suspect fled out of the bank going towards Jefferson Street. He got away with an unknown amount of currency.
