Model Train Show Rolling Into Fishkill

FISHKILL, N.Y. -- Model train buffs, serious collectors and families with kids will find something to enjoy at the Fishkill Model Train & Hobby Show when it rolls into town Sun., Feb. 14.

Model train displays, memorabilia and related hobby items are the mainstay of the show where visitors can admire elaborate train layouts and browse dealer and vendor tables. 

LEGO city exhibits and Thomas The Tank Engine will be among displays. There will be raffles.

Model trains and railroad hobby items will be for sale, including scale items, books, and historical artifacts.

“We sincerely thank all the local fans for helping us make a real impact on local tourism by highlighting the rich railroad history of our area. This show will be a spectacular family fun day in every way," said Nick Savatgy the event's promoter.

Vendor tables are still available for rental or general admission.

Admission to the train show is $7 for adults and $2 for kids under 12.

The show runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 793 Route 52, Fishkill, N.Y. Take Interstate 84 to Exit 12.
