The Dutchess County Department of Public Works (DPW) has announced work on Culvert PV-14 on Sherow Road (Route 73) over the Great Spring Creek in the Town of Pleasant Valley is complete and the road has reopened to traffic, on schedule and within budget.
Culvert PV-14 project work began in September and involved the replacement of the existing culvert and addition of new guide rail and 4-foot shoulders over the culvert. Sherow Road averages approximately 2,800 vehicles per day.
