Cuomo's Holiday Card Uses Dutchess Farm To Illustrate State's Scenic Beauty

DOVER PLAINS, N.Y. -- A snow-covered scene set at a Dutchess County farm was used for Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s annual holiday card this year, according to a report in lohud.

A more wintry version of this scene at Madava Farms in Dutchess County's Dover Plains was used for Gov. Andrew Cuomo's most recent holiday card.

The card, mailed to about 15,000 people, shows a road leading to the Sugarhouse at the 800-acre Madava Farms in Dover Plains, the lohud story said.

This isn’t the first time Cuomo has used his holiday greetings to draw attention to New York’s scenic beauty, lohud reported; two years ago, he used a photo of Essex County’s Mount Marcy, the highest point in the state.
