MILLBROOK, N.Y. -- Some of the top horse riders (and their horses) in the country will be at Cobble Hill Farm in Millbrook this weekend for the annual Milbrook Horse Trials.

The Millbrook Horse Trials is a recognized United States Eventing Association Event that attracts Olympic-level, world-class competitors from the United States and abroad.

Competitions include dressage, cross country and stadium jumping.

It is the largest event in the northeast and the only one with an advanced division. It was a warm-up for the 2012 London Olympics and the 2014 World Equestrian Games in France.

Last year over 500 horses competed. Admission is free and the event features a trade fair and The WaterView.

Cobble Hill Farm is at 1031 Bangall-Amenia Road. For more information, visit http://www.millbrookhorsetrials.com/
