BEACON, N.Y. – The owners of 6th Planet Automotive Solutions have scheduled a ribbon cutting ceremony and car show to celebrate their new used car dealership and service center at 709 Route 52, Beacon.
The event, scheduled from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, is geared toward locals in Dutchess County along with others calling the Hudson Valley home, according to a statement from the dealership.
“It is about going against the grain and resisting the current culture of the automotive world. A consumer should be able to trust their sales person, service advisor or mechanic,” said Frank Barriera Jr., one of the business’ owners. “We decided to bring back what was special about the golden age of automobiles. Our staff greets the customer, explains the service options and provides them with an explanation of repairs when needed. It’s about bringing the past to the present.”
Josephine Class, another of the automotive center’s owners, said the focus at the dealership is on quality as opposed to quantity and working closely with customers and the greater community.
The Route 52 business offers automotive sales, repairs, New York state inspection services and automotive accessories to customers across the Hudson Valley. The business can be reached at 845-765-0913.
6th Planet can also be found online with the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce and on Facebook.
