A serious crash involving multiple vehicles, including one that overturned, resulted in the closure of a stretch of the northbound Taconic State Parkway on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash, which occurred just before 3 p.m., was at the Ossining/Millwood border near the Pines Bridge Road overpass.

There was gridlock in the area at the time of the crash with stopped traffic back to Route 100/Route 133.
