North Castle, Bedford Police Officers Search For Suicidal Man North Castle Police offered an assist to officers in Bedford in an effort to track down an allegedly suicidal man who had just lost his job. The North Castle Police Department received a call from a sergeant working for the Bedford Police Department at approximately 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14, reporting that they were attempting to locate a suicidal man who had threatened to hang himself after being terminated by the New York Police Department.
