Months after a jury concluded that former President Donald Trump sexually abused writer E. Jean Carroll decades ago and then defamed her by calling her a liar, a federal judge in New York has found Trump liable in Carroll’s second defamation lawsuit. In his ruling issued Wednesday, Sept. 6, in US District Court in Manhattan, Judge Lewis Kaplan said Carroll has already proven that Trump defamed her, and the upcoming trial will only decide how much the former president must pay her in damages. NY Man Sentenced For 'Terrorizing Young Women, Coercing Them Into Commercial Sex Acts'
A New York man will spend decades behind bars for forcing women to engage in prostitution. Long Island resident Justin Rivera, age 32, of Amityville, was sentenced to 21 years in federal prison Tuesday, Oct. 11, in US District Court in Manhattan. Federal prosecutors said Rivera - also known as Denzel Rivera, Bangout, and Jackie Chan - conspired with others to coerce the young women to engage in commercial sex acts at an abandoned house in Bohemia in 2015. They di…

Simmons was sentenced in March to a year in federal prison after pleading guilty last year in U.S. District Court in Manhattan to ducking $1.7 million in taxes. The judge at the time called Simmons "a good man" who deserved less than the…
