The New York State Police announced in a statement that statewide, the campaign is aiming to train over 100 more officers using the Drug Recognition Experts (DRE) training program, administered by the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee. Person Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car In Northern Westchester A person was hospitalized after being hit by a car in Northern Westchester.  The incident happened on Monday, Feb. 13 around 3:15 p.m., when police in Peekskill responded to the intersection of Hudson Avenue and Depew Street, where a car had hit the pedestrian, Lieutenant Adam Renwick said.  The pedestrian was then taken to Westchester Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.  The driver of the vehicle was issued multiple tickets following the incident, Renwick said.  Members of the local community organization Peekskill Walks commented on the incide…
