Retaining Wall Collapses, Tumbles Into Roadway In Ossining Main Street in Ossining is still closed to traffic following the collapse of a 40- to 50-foot-tall  retaining wall that tumbled into the roadway, bringing part of a business along with it. The incident took place around 7:30 p.m. Monday at 100 Main St., near the heart of downtown Ossining, said the Ossining Police Department. No one was injured during the collapse of the wall located at the split between Main Street, Secor Road, and Hunter Street, police said. Large Truck Leaking Fuel Causes Road Closure In Ossining Update: Police said that the scene is nearly cleaned up, and Main Street is expected to reopen at approximately 6 p.m. on Monday afternoon. All hands were on deck Monday morning on Main Street in Ossining, as crews worked quickly to clean up a massive oil spill in the area that forced a lengthy road closure. Main Street remains closed between South Highland Avenue and State Street due to a large truck that leaked gallons of oil in the roadway.
