Driver Escapes Injury After Hitting Pole, Flipping Vehicle On Route 22, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man escaped injury after he lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole.
The crash took place around 7:20 a.m., Friday, June 4, in Putnam County, on Route 22 in Patterson, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
Byron R. Duarte Giron, age 23, of Dover, was driving a 2010 Mazda southbound when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a pole and overturned, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
Route 22 has reopened.
No charges will be filed in the case.

Seven Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops
New York State Police troopers busted 29 motorists from the Hudson Valley and Fairfield County who were allegedly driving while impaired this past weekend.
