Person Hospitalized After Crash On Route 100 In Katonah A two-car crash on a busy main road in Northern Westchester sent one person to the hospital and caused a small fluid spill.  The collision happened on Friday, June 16 around 4 p.m., when first responders were sent to Route 100 in Katonah by the King Kone ice cream shop for a reported crash, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department.  After the patients involved were evaluated, one was sent to a local hospital.  Once a small fluid spill resulting from the crash was cleaned up, crews were able to leave the scene after around a half hour, the department reported.  …

Road Reopens After Construction Vehicle Overturns In Westchester County This story has been updated.  A busy road in Westchester County has reopened to traffic after closing when a construction vehicle overturned in the street.  On Tuesday, Nov. 3 around 9:45 a.m., Yonkers Police announced that Central Park Avenue northbound (Route 100) at Fort Hill Avenue was closed to traffic after a construction vehicle flipped over, spilling dirt on the roadway.  The road has reopened as of 11 a.m., and the truck and debris have been removed, according to Yonkers city officials.

Somers 7-Eleven Robbed, State Police Say State police are investigating the robbery of a 7-Eleven store in Northern Westchester in which three masked reportedly stole cash and cigarettes. The robbery took place on Tuesday, March 22, at the store located on Route 100 in Somers, said Trooper AJ Hicks. It happened just before noontime on Tuesday, May 25 in Somers on Route 100 and Elmer Galloway Road. Before arrival by firefighters and EMS personnel, a state trooper applied a tourniquet to a seriously injured driver of one of the vehicles, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department.
