Teen Duo Accused Of Bringing BB Gun To Yorktown High School This story has been updated.  Two teenage boys face criminal charges after bringing an inoperable BB gun to a high school in Northern Westchester, police announced. The two boys, ages 13 and 14, were arrested on Monday, Nov. 13, and Tuesday, Nov. 14 following an investigation conducted by Yorktown Police, the department announced on Friday, Nov. 17. Yorktown Schools Closed Tuesday For Outages, 'Hazardous Utility Condition' As Con Edison crews continue cleaning up from the weekend’s Nor’easter, the Yorktown School District will remain closed on Tuesday as approximately 10,000 in the town are still without power. Yorktown Schools Superintendent Ron Hattar announced on Monday afternoon that “due to the continued power outage in most (Yorktown) schools, a hazardous utility condition outside of Crompond School and concern about safety at bus stops,” all Yorktown schools will be closed on Tuesday, March 6.
