A stretch of a busy main route in Northern Westchester is now open after a trailer separated from a truck and hit a retaining wall, police said. Route 6/202 (Goat Trail) between Route 9D and Route 9 in the town of Cortlandt is now open following a crash on Monday afternoon, April 29, according to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police. According to Hicks, the crash happened when a trailer loaded with sheetrock separated from a truck and slammed into a retaining wall along the roadway.  A crane was needed to remove the sheetrock from the trailer to …

Man, 24, Charged With Spraying Graffiti In Northern Westchester A 24-year-old man is in police custody for multiple alleged incidents of graffiti in Northern Westchester.
