Lane Closure: Sprain Brook Parkway In Westchester To Be Affected
A scheduled lane closure will soon affect a busy parkway in Westchester to make way for road work. The closure, which will occur on Thursday, July 27, will affect one lane of the northbound Sprain Brook Parkway between Route 119 and Route 110C in Greenburgh, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. The lane closure will last between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., officials said.

Man Steals His Own Mercedes Benz, Caught Driving It In Westchester: Police
A Connecticut man faces charges after he was caught driving his vehicle in Westchester which he had stolen from a repossession yard, police said. The incident happened on Friday, July 21 around 10:15 a.m., when Westchester County Police were notified that a stolen Mercedes Benz SUV was driving in White Plains. If you were looking to add bamboo to your backyard, you may be flat out of luck if you live in the Westchester town that just banned residents from doing so following several complaints. On Wednesday, July 12, the Greenburgh Town Board approved legislation that bans new bamboo plantings and tightly regulates existing ones, Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said.
