Village Hall In Northern Westchester Becomes First In State To Install Gender-Neutral Signage A village in Northern Westchester has become the first municipality in the state to install gender-neutral signage in all its facilities. The idea came at an Ossining Documentary and Discussion Series program, when “it occurred to Mayor Victoria Gearity  that the Village may have a role to play in improving the lives of transgender and gender neutral people," the village said.
