A university with a proud history of accomplishments and a long line of distinguished alumni that includes five former U.S. presidents, Yale achieved a historic first on Monday.The university's men's lacrosse team defeated Duke 13-11 in the Division I championship game in Foxborough, Mass., giving the Bulldogs their first-ever national title in the sport. Wesleyan University's men's lacrosse team won its first-ever NCAA Division III championship on Sunday, aided by the efforts of several former high school standouts from the area. The Cardinals, playing in their first-ever title game, defeated two-time defending national champion Salisbury 8-6 in Foxborough, Mass. Salisbury was looking for its 13th national championship.
