Woman Nabbed Attempting To Smuggle Drugs Into Fishkill Correctional Facility, Police Say
A 48-year-old woman was nabbed trying to smuggle drugs into the Fishkill Correctional Facility, according to state police. Diana Guzman of the Bronx was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 3, for attempting to bring 18.3 grams of synthetic marijuana, and 85 sublingual suboxone strips into Fishkill Correctional Facility, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks. The drugs were hidden in black balloons on Guzman’s person, said Hicks. Woman Accused Of Setting Two Fires In Hudson Valley
A 39-year-old woman has been accused of setting two fires in the Hudson Valley. Dana M. Weitlich of Wappingers Falls was arrested Tuesday and charged with arson and other related charges following an investigation into a series of incidents that occurred over the last several months in the Town of Wappinger, said the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. A 34-year-old man was arrested after assaulting another person with a hammer during a domestic dispute, according to the New York State Police. James M. Macisaac of Pine Plains was arrested Sunday for the attack with took place on Friday, July 13, in Pine Plains, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
