Dusty Bathroom Fan Causes Smoke to Pour From Northern Westchester Home Fire crews were called to a Northern Westchester home after a debris-covered bathroom fan caused smoke to pour out of the residence. The incident happened on Thursday, Oct. 19 around 7 p.m., when the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department responded to a home in the Harmon section of the village for a report of smoke coming from the ceiling of a residence. According to the department, arriving crews confirmed that the smoke was coming from a bathroom in the residence.
