BREWSTER, N.Y. - It was a border war on Sunday evening at the Brewster Ice Arena as Somers/North Salem battled Carmel before a raucous crowd of supporters for each team.

Somers/North Salem prevailed 7-3 to improve to 6-3. The Rams fell to 2-8.

Jake Lanyi had two goals for Somers/North Salem, and Nick Smith scored twice for Carmel.
