MAHOPAC FALLS, N.Y. -- A man was found dead while emergency responders were battling an overnight house fire in Mahopac Falls, according to multiple reports.
The fire, on Foxey Lane off Route 6N, began at around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, according to FiOS1 News.
Richard J. Delaney was pronounced dead at 4:19 a.m. after attempts to revive him were unsuccessful, according to lohud.com.
The official cause of death and the cause of the fire are both under investigation.
