A woman who was involved in a verbal road rage incident with a motorist in a vehicle with Connecticut license plates on I-684 sought solace at a Westchester police department after being followed for several miles.
The woman alerted the North Castle Police Department that she had been in a verbal road rage incident on I-684 in Westchester before the driver of a blue Audi began following her on the interstate.
Police said the man driving the Audi followed the woman off the Exit 3 ramp and onto Route 22 in Armonk. The caller then pulled into North Castle Police headquarters while the Audi continued north on State Route 128.
Officers responded and canvased the surrounding area, though neither the driver, nor the Audi was located.
The woman declined to further investigate the road rage incident and no charges are being pursued.
