A total of 65 tickets were issued on Saturday as New York State Police, in conjunction with the New York State Parks Police, conducted a child restraint checkpoint at the FDR Park entrance off of the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown.
Sixty of the tickets issued during the six-hour detail were for child restraint violations.
