SOMERS, N.Y. – Andrew John "Andy" Kennedy Jr., of Somers and Bradenton, Fla., died Wednesday, July 15, at Somers Manor. He was 72.
Kennedy was born in New Rochelle on Feb. 26, 1943, to Lillian and Andrew Kennedy Sr.
He received a business marketing degree from Pace University, working as a salesman for RJR Nabisco and Blue Diamond Growers until retiring seven years ago.
Kennedy is survived by his wife, Carole (nee Linford); three children, Julie Gray, Andrew John Kennedy III and Jennifer DiNardo; grandsons Robert Gray, Tyler Gray, Jarrett DiNardo and Andrew "Drew" John Kennedy IV; a sister, Mary Ellen McCarthy; a niece, Therese Merlino; a nephew, Joseph McCarthy; eight in-laws; five cousins; and many friends.
Visiting hours are Saturday, July 18, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, July 19, from 4-8 p.m. at the Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 20, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers.
A private interment will take place later at St. Joseph Cemetery.
