Somers Hosting Veterans Day Parade

SOMERS, N.Y. -- The local VFW post announced that there will be a Veterans Day parade on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

11/10/2014 5:00 p.m.

The parade's line up is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. near The Elephant Hotel, which serves as Somers' Town Hall and is along Route 100. The parade itself is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. and to proceed to Ivandale Cemetery.

Doughnuts and coffee will be available at Town Hall after the parade, the announcement adds.
