SOMERS, N.Y. -- The Friends of the Somers Library is in the midst of its annual appeal to help fund the library and all of the programs it offers to the community.
Since 1979, the Friends has worked to help the library become a cultural and information center for the people of Somers. Donations help to provide free programs for children, teens and adults; provide free musical and theatrical productions, and purchase supplies and contribute to major projects such as the building of the new circulation desk.
