SOMERS, N.Y. -- Here are some of the stories that topped the news in Somers last week:
- Brianna M. Maldonado, a 23-year-old Plattekill resident, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Interstate 684 by the New York state police in Somers on Sunday, Dec. 14, according to a release by the New York State police.
- Francisco J. Aguilar Lopez, a 32-year-old Mohegan Lake resident, was charged with assault Tuesday after he allegedly punched and broke the nose of a former employee of his from Mohegan Diner, according to Yorktown police.
