Giovanni's Italian Deli, located in White Plains at 925 North Broadway, opened at the beginning of June 2024 and is already a hit with sandwich lovers.

The business, owned by social media star Giovanni Paolo Difuccia, serves up what Difuccia calls "sangwheeches" filled to the brim with Italian meats, cheese, and balsamic glaze.

Some of the creatively-named items offered on the menu include the "How You Doin!" with fried chicken cutlets, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, and sun-dried peppers, and the "Famous Bronx Godfather Sangwheech" with prosciutto, mortadella, soppressata, capocollo, arugula, fresh mozzarella, sun-dried peppers, and balsamic glaze.

The deli also makes its own fresh mozzarella.

If this sounds delicious to you, take a look at a mouth-watering video posted to Instagram showing Difuccia putting together a three-foot-long "How You Doin!":

The business has already received plenty of rave reviews from Yelp reviewers:

"Love these amazing sandwiches... Sandwiches are a work of art," wrote Steve T. from Stamford, Connecticut, who added, "My favorites are the How You Doin, Don't Break my Meatballs and Bronx Godfather."

R.K. from Valhalla also left a five-star review, writing that you may have to wait a little bit for your sandwich but it's "more than worth it."

"You'll be entertained by Giovanni and might be offered a taste or two of his delicious mozzarella and meatballs," he wrote, adding, "Hands Down my go to place in the Valhalla area."
