Stars Fight Hunger With 'Empty Bowls Westchester'

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – The star-studded Empty Bowls Westchester event to end hunger in Westchester County will be held Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the Whippoorwill Club in Armonk.

The celebrity bowl auction, hosted by Chappaqua Cares, will feature signed bowls by Billy Joel, Christie Brinkley, Phil Simms, Bryant Gumbel and Guy Fierri, among others. Michael Psilakis, chef and owner of MP Taverna and Food Network personality, will serve as "Soup Chef" at the fundraiser.

“When I heard about Empty Bowls Westchester, I knew I had to get involved,” said Psilakis. “As a restauranteur in Westchester County, it is very meaningful to be able to give back to those in need right here in our local community.”

All proceeds will benefit The Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry, The Community Center of Northern Westchester and other local food pantries.

Tickets are $125 per person. To purchase tickets or to donate, visit Chappaqua Cares here
