As April 13-19 is National Library Week, Walsh is exhibiting artwork from her series, “Ex Libris: Found Art from a Public Library.”
Walsh, a Carmel N.Y., resident, serves on the Board of Trustees of the Mahopac Public Library and is the former president of the Putnam County Libraries Association. Artwork from this Ex Libris series has been exhibited in various states throughout the U.S. and in Europe.
She worked for more than 20 years as an arts administrator of non-profit theatre companies, performing arts centers and public broadcasting. She has been an associate producer of many Broadway and off-Broadway shows and is currently producing a musical stage adaptation of Jane Austen’s "Sense & Sensibility." She is the president of the Board of Directors of New York Stage and Film Company.
Walsh is a mixed media artist who lives and works in New York. Her Ex Libris work has been exhibited in museums, libraries and galleries around the United States and in Europe.
