Showers, Storms Will Return To Scarsdale This Weekend

We’re in for a wet weekend, says the National Weather Service.

Weather forecasters are predicting showers and thunderstorms throughout the weekend into Monday. The sun will reappear in the region Tuesday and last the rest of the week.

Oh, well, rain may not be so good for outdoor plans, but the region's moisture-starved plants and flowers will love it.

There is a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms and showers Saturday afternoon as temperatures will top out near 85 degrees.

The rain and storm chance continues into Saturday night, but temperatures drop to a more comfortable 70.

Things aren’t looking much brighter for Sunday with showers and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon.

It will be partly cloudy with temperatures around 80.

There is a 40 percent chance that rain will continue into Sunday night. Temperatures are likely to drop to 70, the service said.

Forecasters are seeing more raindrops for Monday, but Old Sol will reappear Tuesday and stick around for the rest of the week.

From Tuesday to Friday, daytime temps will range from a low of 82 to a high of 88.

Nighttime temps will hover in the high 60s to low 70s.
