Drunk Driver Slams Into Telephone Pole In Westchester: Police
A 74-year-old Northern Westchester man faces drunk driving charges after crashing his car into a utility pole, police said.
On Saturday, Feb. 4, around 6 p.m., police in Yorktown responded to a single-car crash on Underhill Avenue by the intersection with Route 118, where a vehicle had collided with a pole, according to Yorktown Police.
After an investigation into the crash, police determined that the driver had allegedly been traveling while intoxicated and had failed to maintain his lane leading up to the collision.

A Northern Westchester man is in trouble after threatening a victim and their child with a butcher's knife in a road rage incident, police said.
On Saturday, Nov. 12, around 5:30 p.m., police responded to a dispute between two motorists in Yorktown by Route 202 and Stony Street, according to Yorktown Police.
After some investigation, police alleged that the suspect displayed the knife in front of the male victim and his child, threatened to kill the man, and then left the scene before authorities arrived.
