'Uncooperative' Drunk Driver Hits Parked Lexus In Scarsdale, Police Say
An alleged drunk driver who crashed into a parked Lexus in Westchester became argumentative and uncooperative with officers after being taken into custody, police said. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department were dispatched to Walworth Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, where there was a report of the crash. Motorist Man With Beer In Backseat Busted For DWI, Scarsdale Police Say
A Westchester man is facing a pair of charges after being busted driving with empty beers in his back seat and a blood-alcohol level nearly double the legal limit over the weekend. A German Shepherd will be detained for several days after it got loose from its Scarsdale home and bit a local resident who was passing by over the weekend. A 20-year-old from Port Chester was busted driving with a blood-alcohol content double the legal limit during an early morning stop in Scarsdale over the weekend. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department conducting larceny patrol on Sunday morning made contact with James Armand Diaz shortly after 7 a.m., who was sitting with his car idling on Farley Road. Suspect Already In Jail Charged In Connection To Third Scarsdale Burglary
A suspect already sent to the Westchester County Jail has now been charged in connection to a third Scarsdale burglary. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department arrested Overlook Terrace resident Orgen Hoxha, 22, on Wednesday, charging him with two counts of second-degree burglary, both felonies, for his role in burglaries in the village on Nov. 30, 2016 on Walworth Avenue and Oct. 26, 2016 on Wildwood Road.
