Erratic Driving: Man Charged After Woman Killed In Crash On Busy Hudson Valley Roadway A woman died after her car was hit by a vehicle operated by a man allegedly driving erratically in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Rockland County in Central Nyack around 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, May 30 on Route 59 in the area of Broome Boulevard. According to Det. Norm Peters of the Clarkstown Police, the first arriving officer found two heavily damaged vehicles, a gray Audi A6 and a black Ford Edge.  Witnesses reported seeing a gray Audi being operated erratically while traveling westbound on Route 59 from Waldron Avenue, Peters said. Shots Fired Incident Under Investigation In Hudson Valley An investigation is underway after reports of gunshots being fired on a roadway in the area. Just before 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, officers in Rockland County from the Clarkstown Police Department responded to the area of Waldron Avenue and Toto Court in Central Nyack.  Officers found a number of fired shell casings in the roadway, according to the Clarkstown Police Department.  No victims or suspects have been identified.
