A 21-year-old woman was hit and killed by a car while walking on a street in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County, around 5:10 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 5, in the area of Route 304 and Clearview Road in New City. The first arriving Clarkstown Police officers found Keptia Fara Brutus, of Spring Valley, lying in the center lane of southbound Route 304, said Det. Norm Peters of the Clarkstown Police. Two suspects have been charged with murder hours after a man was found dead on a street in the Hudson Valley. The incident happened in Rockland County at around 1:10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 29 in the area of 55 N. Myrtle Avenue in Spring Valley. Police in the Hudson Valley are asking the public for help after a man was found dead on a city street. Some 20 people escaped a roaring fire at a Hudson Valley home that was reportedly being used as an illegal rooming house, but a dog perished. State police are investigating after a school bus carrying students on a field trip swerved to avoid another bus and crashed into a guide rail on a busy Hudson Valley roadway.
