Close Call: Southwest Plane Nearly Collides With Private Jet A Southwest Airlines plane and a private jet were involved in a near miss at Chicago Midway International Airport on Tuesday morning, Feb. 25.  The incident required the Southwest flight crew to execute a go-around to avert a potential collision.
