US Army Sergeant From Hudson Valley Dies While On Active Duty At Age 36
A US Army sergeant from the Hudson Valley died while on active duty. Dutchess County native Bryan Micheal Faison, a lifelong Beacon resident, died suddenly on Friday, June 17 in Asia while serving in the Country of Brunei, according to his obituary. A cause of death has not been released. He was 36 years old. He was born in Poughkeepsie on Jan. 19, 1986, the son of Sandra (South) Faison and Micheal Faison. A Hudson Valley high school graduate reached the top of the mountain on Sunday, helping lead the Kansas City Chiefs to the Super Bowl championship. Ossining native Dave Toub, 57, a Mahopac High School alum and the team’s assistant head coach and special teams coordinator under head coach Andy Reid, raised the Lombardi trophy after the Chiefs shocked the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV on Sunday, Feb. 2 in Miami. Alec Lewkowicz Jr., a resident of Mamaroneck, died suddenly on Sunday, July 8. He was 27. He was born In New Rochelle on Nov. 17, 1990 to Alec Lewkowicz and Kathleen Iannuzzi. He was a graduate of Mamaroneck High School.
