Jewelry Worth $6K Stolen During Burglary At Home In Scarsdale, Police Say A police canine was called to investigate a Westchester burglary after a suspect took off with thousands of dollars worth of jewelry. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department were dispatched to a Woods Lane home at approximately 9:40 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, when burglar alarms went off from the first and second floor of a residence. According to police, upon arrival, officers found a rear sliding glass door that had been broken into.
