Girl Rescued From 13-Inch Drainpipe In Westchester, Police Say A Westchester County girl was rescued from a 13-inch drainpipe after a passerby heard her shouting for help. The incident took place around 6:55 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 4, in Mamaroneck. A Village of Mamaroneck police officer conducting post-storm patrol was alerted by persons shouting for help at the corner of Old White Plains Road and Center Avenue. The officer found a 13-year-old female who had fallen into an open utility vault/drainpipe. Driver Treated For Injuries After Rollover Crash In Mamaroneck A driver was treated for injuries after losing control of his car and rolling over in Mamaroneck on Monday morning. First responders were dispatched at approximately 9 a.m. on Christmas Eve to Old White Plains Road, near the intersection of Bruce Road, where there was a report of a one-car crash in the area that rolled over. According to fire officials, the driver was able to extradite himself from the vehicle and he was treated for minor injuries by members of the Larchmont Ambulance Corps. The cause of the crash was not released.
