A speeding driver in Westchester whose license was suspended earlier this year following an alleged intoxicated driving incident earlier this year was busted again, police said. In Scarsdale, a police officer on patrol on Post Road near Huntington Avenue spotted a driver who clocked 55 mph in a 30 mph zone, prompting a traffic stop of the driver of a 2005 Jeep Liberty. A driver who was stopped for speeding near a busy Westchester intersection was arrested after it was determined his license had been suspended nine times, police said. An officer on patrol in Scarsdale near the intersection of Huntington Avenue and Post Road shortly at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Monday, July 1, stopped Elmsford resident Wilson Miller, 28, when he was caught speeding in the area. A motorist who was drinking and driving couldn’t keep his story straight when busted by police driving the wrong way on a one-way road in front of a Westchester elementary school. An early morning traffic stop in Scarsdale led to new charges for a motorist driving with nearly a dozen suspensions on his driver’s license throughout Westchester. A White Plains man is facing charges in Scarsdale after being busted driving with a blood alcohol content nearly triple the legal limit while driving nearly double the posted speeding limit.
