Friends, family, colleagues, and residents in and around a community in Northern Westchester County are searching for answers after police say a young doctor who recently moved to town is believed to have shot and killed her infant child before turning the gun on herself. Man Accused Of Stealing $405 In Merchandise From Lowe's In Westchester
A 74-year-old Westchester man is facing charges after allegedly stealing more than $400 in merchandise from a Lowe’s store in Yorktown Heights, police said. Officers from the Yorktown Police Department received a report at approximately 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, of a larceny at Lowes on Crompond Road. More than two dozen Hudson Valley post offices remain without power following Friday’s Nor’easter that rocked the region with 60 mph wind gusts and a storm.
