Police Search For Man Caught On Video Trying To Break Into Homes In Westchester Police are attempting to track down a suspect who was implicated in a series of burglaries in Westchester. A man last seen wearing a white T-shirt, hat, work gloves and dark pants was captured on a home video surveillance during one of three of the home burglaries in the north end of Rye, which took place between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 20. Officials said the suspect attempted to open two doors of a Forest Avenue home before entering two cars in the area. He then took a shot at two Grace Church Street homes, one of which he entered another vehicle. It is not clear if he made off …

$135M Construction Project Starts On I-95 In Westchester A $135 million construction project has started on a stretch of I-95 in Westchester, the New York State Thruway Authority announced on Monday. The project focuses on the so-called "Last Mile," the final 1-mile stretch from Exit 22 (Port Chester/Rye - Midland Avenue) to the Connecticut state line, which more than 140,000 motorists travel every day.
