Several residents were saved from the rear of a burning Northern Westchester residence after officers braved flames and a downed live wire to rescue them. The blaze happened in Ossining on Tuesday night, Aug. 6, when a residence on Maurice Avenue went up in flames, according to Ossining Police. A woman was rescued from a Westchester home after a fire broke out, officials said. Shortly before 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9, firefighters in New Rochelle responded to the Chatsworth Place home, Fire Chief Andy Sandor said.
