Hudson Valley Man Arrested For Downloading, Distributing Child Porn, FBI Says
A Hudson Valley man was apprehended on charges of downloading and distributing child pornography. The FBI Westchester County Safe Streets Task Force arrested Timothy Mirabal in Rockland County on Thursday, Oct. 28, according to an announcement from the FBI on Friday, Nov. 12. Investigators allege that Mirabal used an international phone application, which allowed him to link to a folder containing child pornography. A Westchester County man has been apprehended on child porn charges. The FBI Westchester County Safe Streets Task Force says the man downloaded and distributed child pornography from a network used on the Dark Web. Agents arrested Michael J. Facelle on Tuesday, July 20, at his home in White Plains. The FBI and other local agencies are asking for the public’s help for information regarding the whereabouts of a woman who went missing in the Hudson Valley. Shaniece Harris, 34, was last seen on May 29, 2017, and hasn’t been heard from since, according to an alert issued by authorities. Her dark gray 2007 Volkswagen Jetta was located by police abandoned on South Woods Drive in Thompson, in southern Sullivan County near the border of Orange County. Feds and local law enforcement are asking the public for help finding a gang member from Westchester wanted for alleged possession of a firearm by a felon. Jamar Manners, aka Gutter, who has been charged federally for possession of a firearm by a felon, has violated the terms of his probation twice after serving time in federal prison, said officials with the FBI New York.
