The Croton-Harmon Union Free School District announced that it has unanimously approved a multi-year contract for Stephen Walker to take over for current superintendent Deborah O’Connell, who is retiring in January. These Westchester Schools Have State's Best Teachers, New Ranking Says Hudson Valley school districts performed well among those with the best teachers, according to a recent rating by niche.com. Scarsdale topped the list followed by Bronxville as number two and Edgemont in sixth for best school teachers in New York state.  Briarcliff was ranked in ninth place and Pleasantville in 11th. Also making the Top 100: Rye Neck schools ranked 13th and Ardsley was ranked 14th.
