Bridge Repair Project To Cause Almost Year-Long Closure, Detours In White Plains A bridge over a busy parkway in Westchester will close for nearly a year for a construction project. The Grant Avenue Bridge over the Central Westchester Parkway in White Plains closed to vehicular traffic on Wednesday, June 5 as part of a bridge rehabilitation project, White Plains Public Safety officials announced on Monday, June 10.  As a result, Grant Avenue is closed between Clinton and Beech streets. Road Closure: Part Of Central Westchester Parkway To Be Affected In North White Plains An upcoming road closure is set to shutter part of a busy parkway in Westchester. The southbound Central Westchester Parkway in North White Plains will close on Thursday, Nov. 9 between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., North Castle Police announced. The closure will allow crews to perform maintenance work.  Motorists are asked to use alternate routes during the closure.
