Former Non-Profit CEO From Hudson Valley Sentenced For Bribery, Kickback Scheme
A Hudson Valley resident who was the former CEO of a non-profit in New York will spend years in prison after being sentenced for soliciting hundreds of thousands worth of bribes and kickbacks from contractors, federal officials announced. Rockland County resident Victor Rivera, age 62, of Stony Point, the former head of the Bronx Parent Housing Network, has been sentenced to 27 months in prison for conspiring to commit honest services fraud.
