Here Are School Election Results In Westchester
Some of the results from New York’s first all-mail school elections are trickling in as districts work to count the ballots. As of Wednesday, June 17, no school districts in Westchester County have reported that their budgets failed, while many of the incumbent school board members look likely to maintain their seats. 33 Westchester HS Students Named Regeneron Science Talent Search 2020 Semifinalists
Nearly three dozen Westchester high school students were among the 300 that were chosen as semifinalists at this year’s prestigious Regeneron Science Talent Search. These Westchester Schools Will Participate In National Walkout Day
Hundreds of Hudson Valley students, teachers and administrators are planning to participate in the National School Walkout on Wednesday to call on Congress for tighter gun control laws. Students are planning to join their peers around the country at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14 as part of the ENOUGH National School Walkout, which is “to protest Congress’ inaction to do more than tweet thoughts and prayers in response to the gun violence plaguing our schools and neighborhoods.” Many schools are allowing students to walk out of class for 17 minutes and are increasing security to ensure the …
